Ornare 2025 Retrospective

More than visibility, 2025 was a year of consolidation. A period in which design crossed borders and bespoke furniture asserted itself as an architectural language. Throughout this journey, the press served as both witness and narrator of a trajectory defined by positioning, consistency, and expansion.

In 2025, Ornare strengthened its presence in the global luxury and design market, expanded across strategic international hubs, and consistently occupied the center of conversations around branded residences and premium real estate. Brazilian design gained prominence as a global language, while the brand secured significant editorial space in leading business, architecture, design, and lifestyle publications worldwide. More than exposure, the year represented legitimation — a cycle that reinforced authority, consolidated narratives, and laid the groundwork for a new chapter on the eve of four decades of history.

Beyond design, 2025 also positioned Ornare at the heart of discussions on business, leadership, and global strategy. Interviews and features in outlets such as, WWD, Fashion Times, Blackcard Digital, ANBA highlighted the brand’s forward-looking vision, the role of family leadership, and its ability to adapt within an increasingly competitive and internationalized luxury market. The presence of executives and founders in editorial content reinforced Ornare’s image as a solid, visionary company prepared for the next cycles of global growth.

Below are the key highlights of the past twelve months:

EXPANSION

Internationalization gained both momentum and scale. In 2025, Ornare accelerated its global footprint with the opening of new showrooms and the strengthening of its presence in mature, highly competitive markets. Cities such as Boston, Washington, D.C., and New Jersey became even more firmly integrated into the brand’s global map — a movement widely covered by international specialized media throughout the year.

Publications including Elle Decor Itália, KBB, Kitchen & Bath Design News, Modern Luxury, LUXE Interiors + Design e Luxferity, highlighted Ornare’s consistent growth strategy in key markets.

The opening of new spaces marked a new level in the brand’s global operations, definitively positioning Ornare within the international circuit of contemporary design.

BRANDED RESIDENCES

One of the major highlights of 2025 was Ornare’s consolidation as a value-added seal within the high-end real estate market. Throughout the year, Ornare deepened its involvement in premium developments, becoming one of the leading Brazilian names associated with the global branded residences movement. Residential and hospitality projects increasingly adopted Ornare furniture as a true mark of added value, strengthening the connection between architecture, interiors, and experience.

The brand received broad recognition for its strategic role in advancing signature developments, driving the growth of the branded residences model, and elevating the sophistication of projects in Brazil and abroad. Ornare came to be recognized not only as a bespoke furniture provider, but as a conceptual partner to global developers, helping raise the aesthetic, functional, and symbolic standards of each project.

FEATURED PROJECTS

Throughout the year, Ornare reaffirmed its leadership in contemporary design by showcasing a wide and diverse curation of residential and commercial projects, shared across social media and widely covered by specialized press. From authorial interiors signed by renowned architects, each project revealed the power of bespoke furniture as a vehicle for translating concept, identity, and ways of living.

Whether in exuberant beach houses, sophisticated urban residences, or large-scale hospitality and premium real estate projects, the content positioned Ornare as a creative partner to architects and developers. Highlights included features KBBOnline, ENews, RobbReport, St. Regis Residences, Sunny Isles Beach,  111 West57st, Claudia Amboss

EXHIBITIONS & EVENTS

In 2025, Ornare built a consistent presence across the leading design, architecture, art, and lifestyle circuits in Brazil and abroad. Through exhibitions, design weeks, talks, vernissages, and exclusive gatherings, the brand reaffirmed its role as a cultural connector—transforming design into a language capable of crossing cities, continents, and disciplines.

Proprietary events and strategic collaborations expanded the dialogue between design, real estate, art, and innovation, reinforcing Ornare’s positioning as a qualified and influential voice on the issues shaping the contemporary market.

In the art sphere, the Art All Around project broadened its reach through exhibitions, vernissages, guided tours, and talks, strengthening the relationship between artistic creation, architecture, and lived experience across different cities.

ESG

In a year marked by the expansion of global sustainability discussions, driven by COP30, Ornare continued to strengthen its environmental, social, and governance commitments. In a landscape that demands transparency, positive impact, and responsible processes, the brand reaffirmed its conviction that sophistication and sustainability go hand in hand.

“We understand sustainability as a strategic pillar: design is only enduring if it is also responsible,” emphasizes Murillo Schattan, Ornare’s co-founder.

The company operates with energy-efficiency systems, LED lighting, solar panels, and water management practices capable of reducing water consumption by up to 25%. Ornare fully offsets its greenhouse gas emissions and ensures the proper destination of 100% of its industrial waste, in addition to maintaining reverse logistics for materials delivered to clients.

Among its standout initiatives is a partnership with 1645 Leather Store, by Curtume Minuano, which promotes the reuse of leather waste within a circular economy model, benefiting approximately 2,000 families supported by the NGO CSV.

Reverse logistics also plays a central role: furniture used in exhibitions and events is cataloged, reused, restored, or donated to educational institutions and social organizations such as Instituto Capim Santo and Centro Universitário Belas Artes.

Certifications such as FSC® and CARB further reinforce Ornare’s commitment to traceability, excellence, and responsibility across every stage of production. The ESG agenda also extends to social impact, with initiatives focused on representation, governance, compliance, and human development.

CLOSING 2025

At year’s end, Ornare’s showrooms were transformed for the festive season, expressing the spirit of Christmas through design, art, and sensory experience.

At the flagship store on São Paulo, the window installation designed by set designer Gaziella Beltrão was conceived as a kinetic and optical art experience. In constant transformation, the installation unveiled an interplay of light, reflections, and movement that redefined spatial perception, in collaboration with By Gabs.

THE FUTURE TAKING SHAPE

In 2026, Ornare celebrates 40 years of history and prepares a series of new initiatives that mark the beginning of a new chapter. Moving forward with strength, consistency, and strategic vision, the brand remains true to its essence of connecting cultures and transforming spaces into experiences. The future is already unfolding through new markets, unprecedented collaborations, and a renewed conviction that design is, above all, a universal language.
