Pantone 2026 “Cloud Dancer”

Selected as the Color of the Year, Cloud Dancer offers a renewed interpretation of contemporary sophistication. This soft, luminous off-white reveals a light and elegant aesthetic, enhancing natural light, highlighting design precision, and creating serene, well-balanced atmospheres.

In today’s design landscape, Cloud Dancer emerges as a tone that seems to breathe—delicate, almost suspended. For Ornare, the shade reflects a quiet, timeless approach to design, where functionality, materiality, and aesthetics converge with effortless harmony.

With a serene and welcoming aesthetic, Lu Dias incorporates Shaker cabinetry in a soft white finish inspired by the neutrality of Cloud Dancer. Delicate moldings establish a luminous foundation, while natural stone introduces organic nuances and subtle veining into the composition. The balanced contrast between light cabinetry and expressive materiality adds sensory depth, resulting in a harmonious atmosphere.

In architect Érica Salguero’s interpretation, the Stripe and Shaker lines shape a space defined by serenity. Light tones reinforce the essence of Cloud Dancer and engage in dialogue with refined materials and precise finishes. The Stripe cabinetry, in soft white, is accentuated by integrated gold-tone metal pulls, subtly echoed in the accessories from the Shaker line in the same finish. Completing the composition, the Shaker bar system introduces functionality and visual lightness, expanding the narrative of organization and spatial harmony.

Architect Bruna Mokfa explores the Manhattan line in a composition defined by purity and precision. The gently warmed off-white enhances the perception of space and reflects light with delicacy, creating a refined atmosphere. Continuous planes, subtle contours, and metallic elements reinforce the idea of timelessness, building visual depth without compromising the project’s inherent lightness. Here, color acts as a unifying element, elevating the architecture of the space as a whole.

In the project by Ana Paula and Anderson, the Manhattan line stands out through custom-designed cabinetry in an off-white tone that reflects and diffuses light throughout the day. Each plane was carefully conceived to enhance the relationship between natural light, surfaces, and volumes. The line’s signature metallic details introduce subtle highlights and sophistication, with color expressed as a synonym for calm and quiet luxury.

Barbara Dundes Project

Architect Barbara Dundes also embraces the softness of the color to reinforce a sense of lightness, spaciousness, and visual continuity. Clean design, defined by flat surfaces and subtle details, emphasizes symmetry and constructs a narrative of balance and timelessness.

In different ways, these projects demonstrate how Cloud Dancer brings clarity and depth to light surfaces and precise compositions, creating sophisticated atmospheres. More than a trend, the shade reinforces the elegant, timeless design that is Ornare’s signature.
